Drinking Up While Doing Good
At Magnetic we are constantly filling up our water bottles throughout the day to stay hydrated in this desert. We’re lucky to have access to clean and safe drinking water, because more than a billion people worldwide are without the access.
This past weekend we got the chance to help bring light to this issue and celebrate World Water Day at the season preview of Marquee Dayclub. That day Marquee Dayclub donated 10 percent of all bottled water sales to the Whole World Water Fund, which is used to fund clean and safe drinking water initiatives around the world.
The awesome event was hosted by the one and only Kourtney Kardashian. The crowd went crazy for Kourtney, especially when she set off fireworks from the DJ booth. Australian singer and songwriter Sia also joined in on the fun for the day. It was great seeing one of Sia’s signature face-obscuring wigs in person. It was even better seeing her wear the red Whole World Water bracelet in support of World Water Day. We made sure to get our bracelets, because 100 percent of the bracelet sales went to the fund as well.
In addition to hosting fun events, TAO Group’s collection of restaurant brands in New York City and Vegas, filter, bottle and sell their own water in reusable glass bottles, contributing 10 percent of the proceeds to the Whole World Water Fund.
We think it’s really cool when the work that we do for clients also does good for the world.
